 Green Cross International (GCI) has launched the Smart Water for Green Schools project together with Pureology Serious Colour Care®. By encouraging exchanges between schools in the same river basins, the partnership aims to promote smart water systems and water conservation at the local, national and international levels. The project also ensures hygiene and sanitation education.

Global Green USA celebrated it’s 7th Annual Pre-Oscar® party on 3 March at the Avalon Hollywood, raising funds and awareness for Global Green’s initiatives to fight climate change. The star-studded event featured musical performances by Mia Maestro, Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, and Camp Freddy. “Greener Cities for a Cooler Planet” was the theme of the evening, which benefited Global Green’s initiatives to promote smart solutions to climate change by creating healthy, green communities.

 Global Green USA, Mountaire Farms, and Interstate Container have converted the largest poultry plant in the US to use recyclable, wax-alternative boxes. The change reduces the plants’ greenhouse gas emissions by more than 100,000 tons*, water consumption by millions of gallons annually and assists restaurants in achieving their environmental goals.
